Mad Catz Making Rock Band Instruments

January 4th, 2008 Posted in Business, Simulation, Xbox 360 by Will Prusik

If you’ve broken your Rock Band guitar controller in an ill-advised Pete Townsend impression and are lamenting the fact that individual controllers aren’t available yet, there’s some good news on the horizon. Mad Catz, a well known maker of gaming peripherals, has signed a contract with MTV Games that’ll allow them to make peripherals for Rock Band. They won’t be sticking to guitars either. They’ll be making third party versions of all the instruments. The guitars will be available in both wired and wireless forms.
