Be a REAL Guitar Hero

January 5th, 2008 by Rajiv Ashrafi in Business, News, PC, Simulation, Software

Rock in Guitar Hero, but suck on a real guitar? No worries. Taking a cue from the popular rhythm games from Harmonix, a company called Music Wizard Group is bringing out a new teaching tool called Guitar Wizard that comes with a real Washburn guitar, MIDI pickup and the Guitar Wizard software itself. The company claims that users will be rocking out and reading music in a couple of minutes.

Interestingly, the software that will be used is the same as Mattel’s “I Can Play Guitar” product. The company will be showing it off at CES next week. No release date was offered.
