God of War 3 in “Good Hands”

Unlike God of War’s creator David Jaffe, Cory Barlog, lead developer on the sequel, isn’t so vocal. However, Barlog, in a recent blog post, made it clear that God of War 3 is in good hands at Sony’s Santa Monica studio. He writes that he was working on the story and design for the third game right after the sequel was complete, and that he had already finished the story for the game, which will complete the arc they began in the original. He also notes that Kratos’ finale will end with a “very big, very epic bang.”

Unfortunately, he did not mention what project(s) he is working on right now, except saying that he’s “cooking up several things.”
