Guiness Gamer’s Edition Launches, Hosting Record-breaking Event

January 5th, 2008 by Rajiv Ashrafi in News

Kotaku reports that the Guinness Book of World Records Gamer’s Edition 2008 has had its website launched, offering the first peek at records made by gamers up to now. As the site notes, the book seems to have taken on a more magazine-like layout, showing off both textual content as well as eye-catching images. Horrendous cover though.

Additionally, gamers can register to take part in a little record-breaking event themselves, provided they live in London, New York, Sydney, Toronto, LA or Paris. They are hosting a Guitar Hero marathon, hoping to enter the event as the longest gaming marathon ever. Cosplayers are invited, too.
