Major Nelson Posts Year End Live Stats

January 5th, 2008 Posted in Multiplayer, News, Online, Xbox 360 by Brian Lockhart

Major nelson has posted the final year-end stats for Top Xbox, and Xbox360 games played via live as well as XBLA sales for the entire year. It is an interesting, in some cases predictable and others not about what is happening on Xbox Live. Obviously Halo 3 and Halo 2 take the top spots on live for their respective consoles, no big surprises there.

The live arcade titles are very interesting. Who would have thought Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was so incredibly popular. It’s too bad we couldn’t see some actual units sold, but this is a good look at how the titles have basically panned out for 2007.
