Neverwinter Nights Creators Honored

Bioware has nothing to do with this. Not many younger gamers know that the recent RPG hit Neverwinter Nights was something of a remake. In 1989 a company known as Stormfront Studios began working on what would become a smash sensation and the first graphical online role playing game. It was finished in 1991 and was offered on AOL until 1997. Surprisingly given the up and down nature of video game studios, Stormfront Studios is still in existence and creating games to this very day. Don Daglow– the leader of design on Neverwinter Nights– accepted an Emmy award on the 7th at the International Consumer Electronics show in Las Vegas.
