Sony Online Entertainment sends word that they have launched Pirates of the Burning Sea for preorder customers, who can now jump in the game and set sail ahead of the game’s retail launch on January 22. They note that characters will not be wiped prior to launch, and those interested in participating can still preorder.
They also revealed the game’s pricing structure. Playing the game requires purchasing it for $49.99 at retail, followed by a subscription.
