It’s getting to the point where its hard to tell what we’ve already learned and what we have yet to learn from the Dojo. All new characters get their introduction posts, and two follow up posts about their move set and final smash. It’s actually been a curiously long time to have Snake’s final smash unveiled, seeing as he was amongst the first batch of new comers revealed, well before the Smash Bros. Dojo started daily updates. I think this rounds out all the information we need to know about the new characters, save Captain Olimer whose move set we’ll find out within the coming week or so.
So what’s Snake up to after gaining the Smash Ball? Like all characters, he’s had a very cool move implemented, once the Final Smash is triggered, Snake leaves the stage via helicopter and takes the foreground. By using the reticule, you’ll have up to 12 shots in two separate rounds to fire grenades at your opposing foes left behind. It seems like a very interesting move, but unlike some Final Smashes will require some skill to implement properly. The real question is, with this new reveal, will Snake be better controlled with the Wiimote IR sensor, or should those still electing to take the traditional control route, have no issues keeping up.
