January 10th, 2008 Posted in Business, Hardware, News, PlayStation 3 by James

Sony has finally discontinued the 20 and 40 GB versions of the PS3, meaning the only version left is the recently introduced 40 GB PS3. Since the only remaining version does not have any form of backwards compatibility, it’s tough news for potential PS3 owners looking to relive old PS2 memories on the PS3.Sony has stopped manufacturing the 20 and 60 GB versions altogether, and it’s only a matter of time before supplies run out in Europe and North America as well.
