^yeah I totally agree. There will always (well until people’s perspective changes) be a demand for a physical medium. Digital distribution is also great as well. But I believe that they can both co exist much like itunes and CDs.

Oh yeah, digital downloads are great. If you want to have a decent sized movie library you have to buy an external hard drive, and if that dies or you lose your computer, there goes your movies. And seriously, how is sony ‘doing us up the butt hole’ with blu-ray? Sure, it’s more expensive than regular DVDs, but that’s simply the way of things. For those of us who don’t have disgustingly high-speed internet access, blu-ray is great. And if you want to beat the system, get netflix.

Well i guess they have a bit of class because they didn’t break contract like the others did. I sure hope they don’t go blu-ray only. As much as it pains me to say that will pretty much be the death of HD-DVD if they do. Sony is doing all you peeps up the butt hole thats for sure. I really wonder how much it took them to pay off Warner Brothers. Bring on the digi downloads and death to blu-ray.
