Ryan Howard Chosen as MLB 08 Cover Athlete

Philadelphia Phillies all-star first basemen Ryan Howard has been chosen as the cover athlete for MLB 08 The Show that is due to hit stores early this year for PS3, PS2 and PSP.

Howard is the second player in Major League Baseball history to win the Rookie of the Year honors and a Most Valuable Player award in successive seasons. He has various records and achievements to his name, including breaking the record for most home runs in a sophomore season.

MLB 08 is the latest installment in the baseball series, offering authentic baseball action including more than 3000 individual player animations, umpire personalities, progressive batting performance and more.
