Rock Band Interactive Light And Smoke Show

Usually I’m not too big on random add-ons for videogames, usually because they are wholly unnecessary and more or less useless, other than for show. But what if that first party approved accessory, while unnecessary, also managed to be awesome? That’s basically what Harmonix has done with the Rock Band Interactive Light and Smoke Show, which were caught online at a retailer.

Coming June 23rd, it appears to be an accessory that presumably would play along with your Rock Band game, adding a whole lot of mood and depth to the experience. True, the stand in price seems to be 100 dollars, which might be a little steep, but 100 dollars may very well be worth it to set you apart from all those other Rock Band wannabes.

If you are the obsessive type that owns a mic stand, customized guitars, and installed a stage in your basement for the sole purpose of Rock Band, I can confidently say your decision on the matter has been made. For the rest of us, it may make you look like a huge geek to your friends, but even their hearts might fill with glee when your stage show takes off.
