Smash Bros. Brawl Receives Perfect Score

January 16th, 2008 Posted in Action, News, Wii

Even more frustrating than the continual delays for many will be the fact that Smash Bros. Brawl is good. Games are often delayed due to need for polish and further development. Many games could have used a little longer in the studio before they were released, being full of bugs or problems that must be fixed via patch. It seems however that Smash Bros. Brawl is already doing quite well. Four different reviewers from Japanese  weekly magazine Famitsu all gave the game a perfect 10/10 rating, which understandably is rare. All four reviewers mentioned that in addition to the excellence of the multiplayer battles, the single player mode is long and well-fleshed out.

As far as Japan being guilty of a ‘keep everyone happy, don’t rock the boat’ mentality, I think that persists pretty much everywhere, especially here in the USA.
