Wii Chess Released

Nintendo today announced that it has released Wii Chess, offering the ultimate strategy game for fans of the sport everywhere. The game is considered to be one of the most powerful chess software; it uses loop express, a conversion of the loop chess engine which ranked third in the 2007 World Computer Chess Championship in Amsterdam.

The game allows players to record, review and replay previous games. It comes with 10 difficulty levels from beginner to expert and also features online multiplayer support.

    I think that this one went under the radar by a lot of people but then it is just a virtual chess game after all. I can’t see the appeal even to non gamers.
