Undertow Free To All 360 Owners

I think the moral of the story is you should stop buying XBLA games, incase they turn around and decide to offer it as a free gift. Following the poor Xbox Live service through post-Christmas madness, PR folks from Xbox commented that they would like to make it up to everyone but offering up a free game. They’ve gone through with their word and are offering normally priced undertow for the low fee of free from Wednesday, January 23 to Sunday, January 27.

The best part of the announced (for me at least) is that the game will be extended to everyone, Gold and Silver subscribers included. I must admit I was slightly annoyed when trying to download Rock Band tracks, but not being a subscriber its nice that they choose to offer the game up to everyone, whether effected or not.

And what about the rest of you that have already shelled out the cash for Undertow? Well, in a out of character kind move, you can call up Microsoft’s customer service and they will take care of you. Not sure what that entails, but they’ll probably have a list of a few other titles they can offer you in exchange. Watch for Undertow free next Wednesday and make sure you don’t forget to take advantage of the limited time offer.
