Wii GH3 Replacement Discs Next Month
Following up on replacement discs for the Wii version of Guitar Hero 3, Activision sent out an email to GoNintendo where they reveal that the discs have been approved by Nintendo and will be out next month. Below is the process for getting the replacement copy:
Once we have the discs, we will contact you and then proactively send you a prepaid return envelop with a game exchange claim form. You should return the completed form with your current copy of the game. Once we receive a completed claim form and game, we will send you the replacement disc.
The original problem was that the Wii version had monaural sound, outputting sound from one channel to all speakers. Many users have been affected by this bug, and since the Wii doesn’t support downloadable updates, users have to go through such a hassle to get a working copy of the game.
