Guitar Hero Makes $1 Billion In 26 Months

Activision has revealed that the Guitar Hero franchise has surpassed revenues of over $1 billion in just 26 months, a new record, according to the company. The franchise has sold 14 million copies of Guitar Hero (1+2+3), and countless of millions of downloadable songs. Since Guitar Hero 3’s release in November, the game has surpassed 5 million song downloads. It was also the highest earning game of 2007.
