Another Delay for Age of Conan

And yet another delay lands on a highly anticipated game. Funcom sent out word that it has added 8 additional weeks of development to Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, the upcoming highly anticipated MMO based off the barbarian action series. Now set for release on May 20, the game was delayed to allow the studio to deliver a more polished MMO experience; they are also taking in user feedback on aspects such as immersion, fun factor and the combat system.
According to their announcement, the company has great faith in the game, feeling certain that further polish will only help the game and satisfy its fans. “The companies standing apart in the gaming market today are those with a relentless drive to achieve quality. Even though we regret delaying the launch, I am certain we made the right choice. I hope that our followers and fans will support our decision, and respect our commitment to quality,” said Gaute Godager, producer and game director of Age of Conan.
