Haze Pushed Back To Fiscal 2008

January 23rd, 2008 Posted in News, PlayStation 3 by Brian Lockhart

It’s been an Ubisoft news filled day after they put out their recent press announcement. While mostly good news, it’s not been positive for PS3 owners who won’t be seeing Splinter Cell, and also will not be seeing Haze anytime soon. Originally the game was meant to launch this last holiday, but was delayed unto the fourth quarter. Now however, it has been pushed back into sometime in fiscal 2008, which could frankly land anywhere, even a full year from now. A likely scenario would be a spring release given no more delays are met, but a summer/fall release could be just as likely if the studio needs the time.

No word on whether the delay was due to financial or development reasons, although I’d lean towards the development side of things, given the delay that has already occurred.
