Customized Regional Sign-in Icons for PSN
Unlike Microsoft, Sony is lenient about users who create multiple accounts to take advantage of content spread across various regional stores on PlayStation Network. This means that users have multiple accounts set up on their PS3 and may not readily recognize which accounts are tied to which region. Realizing this, Mark Brown over on the British Gaming Blog made up customized icons that can be set up as those little sign-in icons in the XMB menu.
He has used country flags for various accounts, and from what I see, they look damn good. The three major ones are already there – USA, UK and Japan – with many other country flags thrown in the mix. Brown also throws in the PSD file, letting users create their own icons and whatnot. The project’s home is located in this NeoGAF forum thread.
