Mercenaries 2 Delayed to Summer?

Retailer listings for Mercenaries 2: World in Flames once again suggest that the upcoming open-world game may have been delayed yet again. Amazon and GameStop’s listings for the game now list it as releasing on August 25, a major push back from its Q1 2008 target. Though retailer dates are notorious for being inaccurate, it may not be a coincidence that both major retailers changed their listings without outside word.
The game was originally slated to hit in Fall 2007. The delay is yet to be confirmed by EA and Pandemic, neither of whom have commented on the matter as of yet.
