Lost, developed by Ubisoft, is fast approaching. With Season four kicking off in under a week, the game is well timed to hold fans over after the run of only 8 episodes we’ll be receiving, when it releases in March this year. The Lost Game has perhaps been kept under wraps even tighter than the show itself, we’ve known extremely little about the title until just very recently, when the game is nearly hitting completion.

I have mixed feelings about the trailer, while a Lost game certainly could work in theory, the title doesn’t seem to has as high of a production value as I imagined. The graphics themselves are sub par for the generation, and the voice acting (which only features a smattering of the actual actors) is lacking. It’s kind of hard to have someone else voice Matthew Fox and not take notice.

The game will follow the first three seasons, so don’t expect to learn too much about the rest of season four, but the producers did work closely with the game developers to ensure everything turned out according to plan. While the game itself may seem weak, as long as the important game play elements and storyline are there, this should be a worthwhile purchase for any Lost fanatic. If it is a worthwhile purchase for non-fans remains to be seen.
