Halo is known for many things including teabagging in online matches, but now it has reached schoolyards, with APP reporting that bullies in a Point Pleasant, NJ school district are teabagging other children.
This was first reported through resident Jane Chmielwski, who said her son was assaulted by a group of boys, one of whom held him to the ground while another put his crotch to his head. It was documented with a cell phone camera. The act has been classified as sexual harassment, with APP acknowledging the act being inspired by Halo, “in which players can perform a posturing move over a defeated enemy,” as noted by the site.
Reports of such acts has prompted school administrators to consider a new bullying policy that would punish students for incidents occurring both on and off the school premises.

1Sadly parents are going to blame Halo for this. Sure, the kids might have taken the particular idea from the game, but that doesn’t mean before playing it they were all sitting around having a frickin’ tea party.
