Gellar Passionate About Alice Film
Once upon a time, a game called American McGee’s Alice was said to be shot into a film and Sarah Michelle Gellar – more popularly known as Buffy the Vampire Slayer – was attached to it. As time passed, the film went into development hell, but SMG, as per a recent interview with SCIFI.com, seems affectionate towards the project.
“It’s a passion project of mine,” she said. “It’s a story that I’d love to see. I’m fearful at this rate that I’m going to be the wicked Queen of Hearts because I’m going to be too old to be Alice.”
Apparently, she actually played the game herself, with help from her gamer husband though, and she found it “the most weirdly beautiful game”. The actress called the project “the frustration of my life,” adding that she might have to get down to writing it herself if it came down to that.
I hope she does just that, because not only would I pay to watch Gellar, I would also love to see a dark Alice movie on the big-screen.
