The British just won’t let up! The Manhunt 2 saga continues in the Queen’s country as a High Court judge in London upheld the ban within the region, overturning Rockstar’s appeal granted last month, according to ITN.

The game was initially denied rating by the British Board of Film Classification, barring it from sale in the UK. A toned down version was subsequently released in the US as an M-rated title; interestingly, the BBFC banned even the modified version. A month ago, Rockstar successfully appealed to the Video Appeals Committee, forcing the BBFC to assign a rating to the game.

Apparently, the VAC’s decision was flawed by a “clear error of law”, according to the High Court ruling. The judge has reinstated the ban and the VAC has stated that it will reconsider its decision in light of the court’s ruling.
