GT5 Prologue Hits April 17th

GT5 Prologue is a very weird beast. Part teaser, part demo, part game, it really is just a glimpse at what truly will be coming down the line when the real Gran Turismo 5 hits. However, love it or hate it, it will be releasing very shortly on North American stores, both available for download via the PSN or on a physical disc in stores.
The not so good news is that the game will cost you 40 dollars either way, which is a hefty price to pay for a part of the eventual whole package. The game comes with 60 vehicles, but you can certainly expect that the final version will ship with 10 tens that number (GT4 ran 700 vehicles, and one would expect GT5 to meet or exceed that number).
Whether it is worth the purchase or not, if you are a huge Gran Turismo fan, and can’t stand waiting another year for the real deal, this will hopefully tide you over.
