Civilization Wii Delayed

January 30th, 2008 Posted in News, Strategy, Wii

According to publisher 2K Games, the Wii version of Civilization Revolution has been delayed indefinitely. The publisher told this to IGN, stating that the game is “currently on hold” and that they are “focusing attention on creating the best possible Civilization experience,” referring to all platforms.

Revolution is the first game in the series being developed exclusively for consoles; it is also the first Sid Meier-designed title since the original Civilization. The game was expected to arrive on PS3, Xbox 360 and DS this Spring, with the Wii in Fall.
