Halo Wars Might Have Cross-Platform Play

Since the Halo FPS dining car is closed, fans of the series are eagerly awaiting their next fix in the series. The upcoming “Halo Wars” RTS is currently in development for the Xbox 360. With many Microsoft exclusive such as the Halo games and Shadowrun having been released for the PC it’s no surprise that the Halo prequel is in development for the computer. As with Shadowrun and Uno there will also be cross-platform play which allows PC owners to compete against Xbox 360 owners. The vast majority of successful RTS games have been released  solely for the PC, most likely due to the relative ease of the mouse and keyboard control scheme for that type of game in comparison to console controllers.
