2873185.jpgEver wondered how it would be to meet the men behind the characters we play? Though they may not be high-profile actors or A-list celebrity, they are, nonetheless, popular. Reuters takes a look at these actors, who they claim have gotten a second chance by starring in famous games.

Take for example Keith David, who starred opposite Kurt Russell in the classic ‘The Thing’, who is now more popularly known for voicing Arbiter from the Halo series. “I’m not a big videogame player,” he said. “But once I was on the set of a film and one of the grips came up to me and said ‘I know you’re the voice of the Arbiter, can I have your autograph’?”

Similarly, Terrence Carson, one of the stars of the 1990s sitcom “Living Single”, is now best known for voicing Kratos, the angry demigod from the God of War series. The article also cites Reuben Langdon, the guy who plays Dante from the Devil May Cry series, as being extremely popular in conventions and similar places.

Reuters also takes a look at the payments of the voice recording sessions, as well as how celebrities have affected actual voice actors.
