Jim Ward, President Of LucasArts Vacates

Jim Ward (the happy looking fellow on the right), and president of LucasArts has decided to leave the company for personal reasons. This sudden decision comes a bit out of left field and he will be departing the company in the next few weeks. There are a few ramifications, originally a speaker scheduled for next week’s D.I.C.E., he will obviously not be attending. The presentation has been completely thrown out, so don’t expect as big of a splash out of LucasArts as far as D.I.C.E. goes.

LucasArts is currently seeking a replacement, so obviously they were a bit caught off guard in the process as well. It will be interesting to see all the ramifications this had for the company in the future, and how this will change things up at LucasArts.
