Smash Bros Brawl, known as Dojo in Japan, has sold 500,000 copies on launch day in Japan. The game received a perfect score of 40 from the famous Famitsu magazine, which has contributed to the hype and made the game in even more demand - a lot of Japanese retailers are reporting shortages of the game.It has been known that the game was selling well, but half a million on first day is certainly something Nintendo can be proud of. Brawl could easily end up as the best selling game of 2008.
