MGS Essential Collection Comes To North America

It looks like Japanese gamers won’t be the only ones to get onboard this oh so sweet deal. Surprisingly, ours will even be cheaper, however at a bit of a cost. While you will still get all three MGS games for the PS2, it will be without the bonus disc, the documentary and the PSP game. But, it’s still going to retail at 30 dollars, a cheaper price tag than the fancy Japanese version, and definitely well worth the price.
Although in a sense, this seems like a bit of a strange move, the luxury behind the special addition was all the great features of the set. Even if you owned some of the titles, which may easily have convinced you to pick up the collectors set. But without all those great features and slick look, only those completely uninitiated to the series may bother jumping on board.
