New Call of Duty 4 Multiplayer Maps Coming

call-of-duty-4-beta-charlie-oscar-delta.jpgFresh intel from Activision reports that downloadable multiplayer maps are coming for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Call of Duty 4. No details were revealed, though it was mentioned that the new downloadable content will thrust players into various hot zones consisting of new multiplayer locales.

“We’ve demonstrated our commitment to delivering the best multiplayer experience in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and that continues with our plans for new downloadable content,” explains Infinity Ward’s Community Manager, Robert Bowling. “We’re excited about the new maps, and the added gameplay variety, and we can’t wait to wrap things up and get online with everyone.”

The new maps are scheduled for release this Spring for release on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. No pricing was mentioned.
