Silver PS3 Coming To Japan

Although Americans have only the basic black option when it comes to PS3 purchasing options, Japan is soon to be getting a third color. Joining the black and white consoles is a new “Satin Silver” unit. It’ll be priced the same as the existing SKUs, 39,980 yen for a 40 gigabyte model with a matching SIXAXIS controller. A silver DualShock controller will be released on the same day with a price tag of 5,500 yen, the same price as the other two colors. There will also be a limited run bundle with both a silver console and a copy of Yakuza 3, all for 47,040 yen. All three of these products will be on Japanese shelves on March 6th.
