Dragon Quest Swords Bumped Up
In a surprising, but completely logical move, Dragon Quest Swords joins the extremely limited ranks of titles whose release dates have actually been bumped up instead of delayed. Although, to be fair, the title has been out since last summer in Japan, while we’ve been patiently twiddling our thumbs for the localized version.
Square-Enix has announced that the title has been bumped up a week to be released on February 19th. And why is this move not that surprising? Square-Enix is a smart company, and since this isn’t shovelware that they would actually like to reap from sales from, distancing themselves as far away from Smash Bros. as possible is certainly their best option. Hopefully the extra week gives them a sufficient buffer time before we completely forget about every other title and invest our time to the Brawler.
