Professor Layton Sequel On The Way

February 11th, 2008 Posted in News, Nintendo DS, Online by Brian Lockhart

Obviously, no one was really second guessing Professor Layton sequel hitting up North America. The sequel has already been released in Japan, with extreme success, and the first in the series will be releasing this week. It is great to see Nintendo and Level 5 confirm for those purchasing the first title, that the game will be coming here as well. Even if the title sells at a fraction of the success in Japan, surely they will continue localizing them.

The news actually comes way of the localized version, which has a title screen that uses a password from the sequel to unlock a new title screen. The same feature was seen in the Japanese version and is being toted in the new manual. If you aren’t currently aware of Professor Layton, it is a puzzler from Level 5 studio and published by Nintendo, it is worth considering a purchase after few big profile releases as of late.
