It all is relative solely upon the market. No one would likely be that shocked if Devil May Cry 4 outsells on the 360 in America. While it would have been a huge upset if anything but the PS3 stole Japan’s hearts, but the UK is a different story entirely. The PS3 is actually performing quite solidly, and total system sales don’t lag far behind. Europe is after all Sony’s main market it seems these days, while Microsoft rules the roosts in American and Nintendo, a Japanese company, just is loved clearly across the board.
Sales of Devil May Cry 4, debuting at number one on the UK charts, 61% of which moved for 360 units. It seems the status of Devil May Cry 4 as a system mover have been highly dampened with its lack of exclusivity, as 360 owners are just as equally willing to pick up the title.
