Pandemic Working On LOTR Title

It seems that EA’s big analyst report meeting this morning carried more than just a mere update on Bioware’s projects, but also word of their other new studio, Pandemic, who has been given the green light on a Lord of the Rings project, also due to release in fiscal 2008 (April 2008 -March 2009)

The only current guesses about the project is that it is likely we’ll receive an action orientated type game, versus other style, just based on Pandemic studios history, although anything really is quite possible under the huge cooperate EA umbrella. It will be very interesting to see how these projects turn out, while Lord of the Rings is a great license, we have yet to really see the defining title out of the franchise that gamers flock to in troves.
