Word is that developer Infinity Ward has completed work on the upcoming Xbox 360 patch for Call of Duty 4 and submitted it to Microsoft for testing. A PS3 version of the patch is in the final stages of development.

The patch is said to add new features to the game’s multiplayer component. This includes new kill cams, host migration if a host quits, increased accuracy for sniper and ACOG scopes and more views for spectators. Further details of the patch can be found on community manager Robert Bowling’s blog.
