EA is unsurprisingly planning future entries in many of its hit franchises, including Need for Speed, Burnout, Skate and Rock Band. Company president Frank Gibeau discussed their plans in an analyst meeting, listing these games as part of the company’s “turn around” strategy, which is focused on a “strong pipeline of innovative sequels and new IP”.
The company is also putting pressure on new IPs, with Gibeau listing their plans to publish Tiberium, Dragon Age, Mirror’s Edge, Dead Space and many other upcoming titles. Seems like the company is taking both the safe and unexplored roads.
