Nvidia Spent $5 Million On Crysis Promotion

According to sources close Nvidia, the company spent $4-5 million promoting Crysis, partly with its “The Way It’s Meant To Be Played” program. The company held Crysis launch parties across Europe and in the US, and also bundled in the game with several products from graphics makers. Crysis was launched just in time for Nvidia’s 8800 GT card, arguably the most successful launch of a mainstream product in history.
