Guitar Hero: Aerosmith Confirmed, Giant Lips Peripheral Possible
The newest installment in the Guitar Hero franchise isn’t going to be a throwback to an earlier decade, or even a tribute to a specific genre of music, but will be focusing on the career of a well known long-thriving band: Aerosmith. Set to release in June on both Playstation consoles, the Wii and Xbox 360, the game will have players jamming along to the band’s entire career, from classic songs like “Dream On” to modern hits like “Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” (Aerosmith’s only #1 song ever, can you believe that?). It’s not going to be quite 100% Tyler and Co. however as there’ll be songs from groups that the band has performed with through the years or were inspired by Aerosmith tunes in some way. To celebrate this announcement, Activision is offering Guitar Hero III owners a free download of “Dream On” from Xbox Live Feb. 16th-18th.
