Sony has proudly revealed that their PSN Online Store has surpassed 52 million downloads since its launch back in November 2006, and on PSP a year later. January of this year alone saw almost 8 million downloads.
In comparison, Microsoft’s Xbox Live Marketplace reached the 50-million mark a few months faster than Sony’s PSN, and has 7 million members on Xbox Live, as opposed to almost 3 million on the PlayStation Network.
