Fallout 3 to get Simultaneous Release

February 19th, 2008 Posted in Action, News, PC, RPG by Rajiv Ashrafi

Upcoming highly anticipated action RPG Fallout 3 may be released worldwide simultaneously, according to statements made by the game’s executive producer Todd Howard. Speaking to videogaming247, he said that all versions – PC, PS3, Xbox 360 – of the game “should all be the same date… that’s our plan.”

Further in the interview, he speaks of his belief that the game will transcend the boundaries of traditional game borders between RPGs and first-person shooters. “I like to think of RPGs as the best genre-blenders, in that you can do anything in them,” he said.”No type of interaction is off limits and you can have action parts, puzzle solving parts, or anything else.”

Fallout 3 is set for release during Q3 2008.
