Supreme Ruler 2020, the sequel to Supreme Ruler 2010, will use satellite imagery from NASA, according to developer BattleGoat. The game has players uniting a world of fractured states into a single, global empire with all aspects of a government.
The high resolution satellite imagery is being used to create a “unique feeling of accuracy,” letting players zoom into small regions and capitals from outer space while managing the empire.
The game is due out this Spring.
