Civilization Revolution Dated

2K Games has announced that Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution, the first console entry in the venerable strategy series, will be available in stores on June 3 in North America and June 6 throughout Europe. The game will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and DS; a Wii version was in development, but was cancelled due to various reasons.

Revolution is built up from the ground solely for console and handheld gamers, offering gamers the chance to strategically dominate the globe and don the role of history’s most intrepid leaders. It also includes a multiplayer mode, allowing gamers to go online and duke it out for global domination. The game also features new graphical touches and a streamlined interface.
