theanswer-bw.jpgActivision sent out word that a forthcoming edition of Guitar Hero will feature “Never Too Late” by The Answer, who has won the publisher’s listening session at MIDEM in France. The band beat out over 200 others who entered into the event for a chance to have their music included in the coming game. No details on the game itself were revealed.

“Guitar Hero is all about the music,” says Tim Riley, worldwide head of Music, Activision. “Which is why events like the Listening Session at MIDEM are so important to us. We were very impressed by the quality of the entries, but ‘The Answer’ stood out, and was a clear favourite of our panel. We’re committed to searching for and partnering with great emerging bands like ‘The Answer’. They are a great addition to the Guitar Hero family, and we look forward to working with them through what should be their breakthrough year.”

The four-piece band has been performing since 2005. Their debut album, Rise, has won them love from the fans, with the group opening stadium and arena gigs for bigger bands like The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, The Who and Deep Purple.
