It was an attack aimed at those with mod chips... The virus or code or what ever you want to call it (i prefer virus ^^) was aimed to stop mod chipped consoles from being able to play the game. Unfortunatly it did hurt a small percentage of non moded systemsbut that wasnt intentional To solve this for those with a moded system all you need to do is simply download the latest update (wikey update 1.9s), burn it onto a dvd -r using IMG Burn, Put it in the wii and follow the instructions and BAM you'll be playing brawl again.. pretty odd way to clean a lens right?
