Postal Movie Opening Alongside Indiana Jones 4
In what may be considered a commercial suicide, Postal: The Movie will make its big-screen debut on May 23, the day on which the latest Indiana Jones flick opens.
“We will go out and destroy Indiana Jones at the box office!” thundered a confident Uwe Boll of the first film to win him positive reviews, even from the video game community. He attributed the delayed release of the film to litigation involving the New York Post and the film’s opening scene spoofing 9/11.
“Frankly,” Running With Scissors’ CEO Vince Desi (who plays himself and Krotchy) admitted, “ we’re ecstatic that a release date has been set, and to have Universal behind it is all the sweeter. We’ve been working overtime developing POSTAL III for PC and console and our fans have been waiting to see this movie for a long time now.”
The film stars Zack Ward as “The Postal Dude”, as well as J.K. Simmons, Dave Foley and Verne Troyer (Mini-me in Austin Powers).

The release date for U.S. is set on May 23th, 2008 so Postal can be considered as one of the best comedies not only of 2007 but 2008 as well.
