Audiosurf Album Compiled by Indie Label

A compilation album featuring fifteen free songs has been released by indie record label Asthmatic Kitty for use in puzzle-racer Audiosurf. Dubbed Music for Videogames v1, the album features a variety of previously unreleased as well as existing tracks from several artists including Dosh, Fantastic Mr. Fox and Sufjan Stevens.

Apparently these songs complement Audiosurf’s gameplay, which dynamically creates race tracks based on the user’s music collection.”Each song represents a different challenge in the videogame, changing the feel from a puzzle game to frantic hyper-racer with each track,” the website notes.
